Official Reunion Date and Place
We have come a decision. We've decided that the next Plambeck Family Reunion will be July 16, 17, and 18 in 2010. It will be in Antelope, MT. A price has not been decided upon. See you next year!

New!
I finally did it. I got the new website design done. Sorry it took so long. I got really busy with school. So what do you think? Everything is in its place, except i took out the "Who's Coming" picture section. I've been hounding Wayne for family picture, but he still hasn't gotten it yet. That's about it. Enjoy the new design.

Upper Missouri Ministries
Hello everybody. I scanned in, and put on the website a copy of Upper Missouri Ministries's brochure. It's one of the choices we have for the next family reunion. If you were wondering what the place was like, that's the brochure. They also have a website at www.campumm.org. Looks like a nice place for our family reunion.
I've been working on the new design for our website also. I think it looks good so far. I got the designing part pretty much done actually. It's transferring all the information from the old site to the new design. Luckily Dreamweaver has templates. Makes my life easier. I still don't have the digital copy of the family picture. I did get copies made of the original one though. My mom was going to mail them to the people who requested them. We might have extras.

Post Reunion
I've been very busy. July is a busy month for me. Give you heads up, if you sent an email to my parents, they went on a cruise, but they will be back on Monday August 4. I put our family picture from this year on the home page. It doesn't look good because of my scanner. It's really bad. I'm still waiting for the digital copy of the picture, so once I get it I'll put it on the website for everyone to download. I don't recommend downloading the one on the homepage just because my scanner did a crummy job scanning it and I had to reduce the size of it. I'm working on a new website design. That's about all on the website news for now.
The family reuinion was great this year, if you missed it. More fun times playing horseshoes, and spending time with the family. We also had great food this year. I know I enjoyed the entire reuinion this year. I know we made quite a bit of money in the auction. We had some cool items in the auction this year. I want to thank everyone who helped out with the reunion this year.
I have some sad news. Jim Plambeck passed away last Saturday. Keep his family in your prayers. I remember him coming to family reunions and visiting my grandma, Rose, while we were visiting her.
That's pretty much it for now. I just want to remind you that if you forget the username and password for the pictures page, just send me, Roy, an email.

Update
Sorry for the lack of updates. Today I added two more pictures to the Who's Coming section. Ron and Jamie Jorgensen. My parents have not told me if anyone else has registered, but I'll double check with them. I've been kinda busy. Had some hard finals, and a new job. Also my brother is getting married next Saturday, so I'm getting ready for that. We've also been getting ready for the reunion. I can't believe it's almost here! I hope to be updating a few more times between now and the reunion. I just wanted to update and keep my promise and not go three months without updating.

New Stuff
Finally an update. I couldn't decide what to do with some pictures that I had, but my mom and dad finally suggested something and I went witht hat. The result is the "Who's Coming" addition to the pictures page. Check it out. It's of everyone who has sent back their registration form to my parents. So that's everyone we recieved a registration form from. As I noted at the top of the page, if you see a picture that's not very good, and you have a better one, send the picture to me. I'll be sure to change it. Just a reminder, Pictures and Who's Coming are both password protected. The password should be in the newsletter that you recieved in the mail. If you lost it and forgot the password, send me an email and I'll be sure to get the information to you.
I'll be working on some other things on the site. I promise not to go three months without updating again. Wayne discovered Sam's Club when he came up and visited us. That's where we are getting a bunch of the stuff for the reunion. You can buy everything in bulf from Sam's Club for cheap, so that's why we are getting stuff like paper plate, cups, napkins, etc. from there. It's been pretty quiet on the family reunion front, so yeah. That's one reason why it took so long for me to update. That's about it. Enjoy the Who's Coming section.

Resize
I'm working on the pictures section still. I'm somewhat disappointed on how they turned out. I have to resize the images, and they don't look as good as they should when I do that. Today I added the 2007 family picture to the home page. I used a different program to resize that image and that turned out fantastic. I wish I would have used it with the other 100+ pictures I resized the other day. I might redo that because I have to ask my mom the names of you guys. I think my mom finally got the newsletters out. I saw a couple on the table this morning though, so a few might not have been sent. the pile was smaller than before though. I just wanted to give you a quick update.

Updating
I added a Contact page. Just some genral contact information. I also added 3 more years of history. I've also been working hard to get some more pictures. It's a process. I have about 100 more pictures that I might add. I have to sift through them to make sure I want to use all of them. These are just from the last reunion too. Most of the pictures are for a section that will identify people. My mom took a lot of pictures of family members posing. I'm going to use those pictures and put put their names under the pictures so when you come to the reunion next year you can match the face with the name :).
I was wrong about people recieving newsletters. My mom didn't even send them out yet. She had to fix up some stuff on them. I posted the updated newsletter on the website. Speaking of updating, with the new pictures that I'm going to publish, I might have to revamp the picture filing system that I have on the site. I'm going to have picture categories and to make it easier for me, I need to create various subfolders on the site. This might cause some broken links, so I posted a warning type message on the home page. I have a few more days before the newsletter goes out so I hope to get rid of that warning message before we get some traffic on the website. Hopefully tomorrow I'll have it done. I also have to sift through a photo album for more pictures of previous reunions. My mom talked to my grandma about getting more of the history pages. Well I'm going to take a short break so good night.

Forum Up
I made some minor changes. First is I enabled the forum. The second is I fixed a link error. It wasn't really broken, but it went to the wrong page. Anyways, it's fixed. I also deleted some pages that I hadn't realized I uploaded. Changed my email address for the site. It's now webmaster@royfuss.com. Just to let you know, if you sign up for the forum, the activation information might be sent to your spam or junk folder of your email. The email should be from webmaster@plambeck.com and the subject should be "Welcome to the Plambeck Reunion Forums." Once I activate your account, you should get another email from webmaster@plambeckreunion.com with the subject "Account Activated." I think that's all for now. I'll put all that in the forum "Announcements" topic for future reference. In fact that's what I'm going to work on.

Welcome
I think people are starting to recieve their newsletters. I really did want the site to be completely up and running, but I still have a few kinks to work out. I enabled the forum, so feel free to sign up for that. I think I got the kinks worked out of that. I had a problem with the activation email being sent to my spam email folder, but I think I got that fixed. If it has been more than 24 hours after you signed up, and your account isn't activated, let me know. I've also recieved an email from a family member. It's great to hear your comments. In the forum there's a topic post for comments on the website. If you run into an error, or something, you can post it in that topic. Also if you have any suggestions for the site, they are greatly appreciated. Regarding the site, there's just one thing that I really need to do and that's signing up for the newsletter stuff. My brother, who has been helping me out with the site, has that done, and I need to run it by my parents, but between work and school I haven't seen my parents in like three days and I live in the same house! I should see them tonight and I'll run it past them. Well I just wanted to say welcome to anyone who's visiting because they got their newsletter. I'll be working on the site and I read my email everyday, so don't be afraid to email me.

We're Rolling
Just a quick update. I actually had two years of history on my computer. I've updated that page to have them. You can find that in the History section. I've also been working on the forum. It's not done yet, but I just need to tweak a few things on it to make it workable. I have to work soon, or else I would finish that today. My brother, Derek, has been working on the registration forms online. I just need to show them to my parents for approval, and I'll put that up. I also did some fine tweaking on the site. You probably didn't notice them (then again I don't think family members know about the site yet because we need to send out the newsletters). Speaking of newsletters, my mom (Darla Torgerson if you didn't know) is going to be mailing those soon. She hopes for this week end. By that time, I should have the site up to snuff, for your enjoyment. I got to get to work, and I have finals next week, so I don't know when the next time I can work on the site. Enjoy what's here.

We're up! Welcome Plambecks who have found the site. A newsletter has been sent out, so if you have recieved that and found us that way, welcome. If you happen to lose your newletter, you can download a new one in the newsletter section. I'll give you a little update where we are at on the site right now. Currently the following pages are down: Forum, and History. The "Pictures" page needs a username and password for privacy reasons. The username and password can be found in the paper newsletter we sent you. If you forget the username and password, and lose your newsletter, just give me an email at webmaster@royfuss.com. I check my email everyday. Give me your name so I know that you are in fact a Plambeck relative. You can also send me an email if you have any questions.
